A photo of a meeting of government officials, including BBMP Chief Commissioner Tushara Girinath, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bengaluru, presided over by Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala, has sparked a lot of discussion.
JDS leader and former Chief Minister HD.Kumaraswamy responded to this. He has tweeted about this, "Is the government headed by Shri Siddaramaiah in the state or the government of Hangi at number 10 Janpath Road, Delhi? Kannadigas voted for the hand government? or the puppet government??
Pity.. The people's vote has gone to debt govt.. It has been proved even before the government has completed a month.
Official meetings of the government in Karnataka are held by the artistes of the High Command's quarters! The photo I have tagged is a proof of that dynasties condition. Who gave AICC general secretary Mr. Randeep Surjewala the responsibility and permission to hold government meetings?
There are senior minister in the meeting! Senior IAS officers are also present!! There it became an official meeting. But, there is Surjewala in the center seat! Ministers have side seats!! Is this strange? Hon'ble Chief Minister should answer." he challenged.
JDS state spokeperson Pratap Kanagal tweeted rasing question on this photo. In his tweet he wrote:
1) Who is Randeep Singh surjewala to chair the official meeting of the Karnataka government, In which Senior officials of BDA and BBMP are participating?
2) Who is running this government of Karnataka? CM of Karnataka or Congress High Command?
3) If this is not an official govt meeting but of the Congress party, what are these government officials doing in the Congress party meeting?
